Only RAL members in good standing are eligible to enter. There is no entry fee for this event.
1 - 3 pieces may be submitted
36x36 size limitation unless artist provides a sturdy, stand alone easel to display their art. RAL assumes no responsibility for damage to oversized art.
Only 2D art, (no sculpture or multidimensional mixed media)
No time limit for creation, art may have been included in a prior RAL event.
Art must be marked for sale. RAL will receive a 20% commission on any sale made through the show or subsequent RAL exhibit connected with this event.
Art will not be part of regular categories in the Annual Show, or eligible for "people's choice" voting at the event. Artists are encouraged to submit additional art pieces into the Annual Show (Images of Rockwall art will not count toward the two entry limit at the Annual Show).
Rosettes and special prizes will be awarded in this judged event (prizes TBD).
Submissions will be juried for adherence to theme, appeal, and space limitations. Accepted pieces will be notified by October 5
Judges will be selected from prominent county and city officials. Judging will take place during the Annual Show and winners will be announced at the closing reception.
Selected pieces will be invited to be part of an exclusive RAL exhibit for Rockwall County after the Art Show closes.
